Quality, Safety & Hygiene in the Management of Food

What is the "H"?

With the fundamental purpose of reducing the incidence of foodborne diseases in domestic and foreign tourists and improve the image of Mexico in relation to global food security since 1990, was implemented in our country, a National Hygienic Handling Food Distinctive "H" for all the fixed food and drink

The symbol "H" is a recognition given by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Health, those permanent establishments of food and drink (restaurants in general, hotel restaurants, cafes, restaurants etc.), To meet the standards of hygiene to mark the Mexican Standard NMX-F605 Normex 2004.

The "H" is 100% Preventive, ensuring a warning that pollution could cause some foodborne illness.

After carrying out all the guidelines required by the rule, as well as taking training for several months, middle, senior and operational staff of the Restaurant Bar Copacabana, we conducted an inspection which was positive in this way the Secretary of Tourism gives us the distinctive H.
